This study evaluated the implementation of the Electronic School Records Management System (eSRMS) in public secondary schools in Mandaon, Masbate, focusing on record-keeping accuracy, data security, and accessibility. A mixed-method approach was used, gathering data from School Record Custodians (SRCs) through structured surveys, software and user interface (UI) testing, and interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using frequency, percentage distribution, weighted mean, and ranking, while qualitative responses were thematically examined. Findings revealed that eSRMS enhanced data accuracy and accessibility, with high user satisfaction regarding ease of use and training. However, technical challenges were identified, including system slowdowns (WM=3.4), task delays (WM=3.6), and weak error-handling mechanisms (86% agreement). The system’s dependency on internet connectivity and the need for further training (WM=3.3) also affected performance. Paper-based processes were reduced but not fully eliminated. In conclusion, the eSRMS significantly improved administrative efficiency, but its long-term effectiveness depends on strategic enhancements and user readiness. The study recommends system upgrades to enhance performance, improvements in error-handling mechanisms, continuous training programs, and better infrastructure support to ensure the sustainability and scalability of eSRMS in public school management.
