The use of pornographic symbols, representations and associations in video materials posed detrimental effect to children and adult. This posed threat and alarm to young children. However, not everything pornographic is seen and read. There are materials, like songs and music which provides auditory pleasure the way pornographic, printed and visual materials do. These transcend through wider and younger audiences in radio, social media, video & karaoke. Some of these songs were composed and arranged between upbeat tunes and creative lyrics. This study seeks to prove if these selected Filipino songs have sexual innuendos and have affected and influenced the behavior, including the feelings and emotions of the children participants. Using constructivist Grounded Theory, the study has classified the sexual themes in the selected Filipino songs perceived by children 7- 16 years old as pornographic. It identified the effects and influences of the songs and gave another meaning to Audio Pornography. This novel definition may likely serve as platform for intervention and policies which are contributory to the protection of the children against sexually exploitative materials and has paved way to the creation of interventive programs and policies to the academe, the government and the community. The findings intensified the need for protection of children and vigilance over small, and seemingly
underrated practices which left a huge and detrimental effect to the understanding of sexuality and mental health.
